Tommy – i was going to contact you in the next few days, but i appreciate your follow-up email.
Our comments are extremely positive. Everything that was organised by Vietnam Golf Tours was absolutely perfect.
The accommodation at the Hotel Indochine Hoi An was great for our group and we very impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the hotel.
The bus transport you arranged was very comfortable and we had ample room on the bus for both the group and our clubs. The drivers had water available for us each day and were friendly and on time on every occassion. We arranged pick-up times each day from the courses and they returned on time. They were helpful with every request and it was all done without any issues.
In terms of the golf courses, all were top quality. The facilities at the courses are as good as any we have ever experienced and upon arrival, they had details of our bookings and on most occassions the Golf Clubs had pre arranged the cards and locker details etc and were waiting for our arrival – all extremely efficient. We probobly enjoyed Danang GC the best , but there is not much difference between it and Montogomerie Links. The trip to Laguna Lang Co was enjoyed by all and we thought it was very worthwhile and enjoyed the trip into the country – although, it was a very tough test of golf and was more difficult than both Danang and Montgomerie – its also a bit hotter in Laguna which added to the difficulty. However, as with Danang & Montogomerie, the facilities at Laguna are excellent and world class.
As we have discovered on this trip, Vietnam is a world class golfing destination and combined with the friendliness of the Vietnamese people, the food & ambience in Hoi An, along with the excellent organisation of your Company, it made the whole experience a great pleasure for us all – im sure many of us will go back.
I would like to thankyou personally for your help and the arrangements you made – you did a great job. I am certain that every one of the tour group will be recommending both Vietnam as a destination and Vietnam Golf Tours as a top quality Company – im sure that other people will be contacting you as a result of this tour.
Thanks & regards

Eileen and I endorse Peter’s comments and I wish to let you know that the refund for Eileen’s golf cancellation has been credited to my account. The 2 extra excursions that we undertook (i.e. to Sapa and HCM City) both went very well with travel arrangements and accommodation at a very high standard.

Thanks Tommy – we all enjoyed the trip and would happily recommend your services to others. Accommodation was fine and the courses very good, albeit challenging. The only suggestions I would make is a little more communication regarding pick up arrangements (times, etc) from the hotels and it would be good if the drivers, especially on the longer trips, spoke a little english as we are interested in learning more about your country as we go along.

I owe you for your services in Vietnam. We had good time and made good memories in Vietnam. Even though I misunderstood some activity in Dalat, It’s alright and I took another nice trip with a guide who you sent me. Anyway, thanks for your help and I want to get your service again if I visit Vietnam some day.

Saigon and Dalat Golf Tours in 09-13 Feb 2013
Thanks so much for all the arrangements. We enjoyed our trip in Saigon. All of my friends really enjoyed the golf courses, to the extent we played 27 holes for the last 3 days. The weather was excellent and that made our golfing interupted. In addition, they all liked the hotel. Although it is a little small but it’s cozy and well located. If I have any friends or group planning for Vietnam trip, I sure will introduce them to you.

Thank you for all the arrangements. We all had a good time. Unfortunately the weather for the first day Golf was not kind. As a feed back, the 2 courses were not well maintained. However thanks to the Caddies both Games were enjoyable. Mr Phuc also did a good job transporting us. Finally, thank you for getting us Church Hotel esp the one at Hang Gai street. You can recommend Church Hotel anytime as the facilities and service were excellent.

Thanks Tommy we all enjoyed the break very much – the only comment we make is that we should have stayed in a hotel in Halong Bay on the second night instead of going all the way back to Hanoi

Thank you for all the arrangements. Your driver had been the most helpful, he’s really very friendly and accommodating, making the journey very enjoyable. Perhaps you can send him for some English courses, it will be more helpful if he can converse in English. Other than that, I not no qualms about giving him all the compliments. May De Ville, was not as good as the value worth for a 4 star, the location is really very off the way. I personally enjoyed the golf courses, although I would have expected to play at the Mountain View course of the King’s Island since it is the signature course.

Good morning. We are very happy with the services and accommodation provided at Sheraton Saigon. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and main attractions. Staff at Sheraton speaks good English and we also got a map of Ho Chi Minh from Sheraton. The transfers to & from airport/hotel were efficient and prompt. Thank you for the assistance that you have rendered and we hope to work with you again in the future. Keep in touch.

Dear Mai Anh,
I was going to sent you an email in the next few days on the outcome of our trip. I’m pleased to report to you that everything went well in Kuala Lumpur, Phuket and Vietnam, even the weather was on our side as I expect maybe one or two games in Kuala Lumpur maybe washed out due to their fickle weather but we managed to play all twelve games.
We did have a delay of about 2 and halve hours in Sagon before flying to Danang due to technical problems but this cannot be helped. Overall my three companions have no complaints and on behalf of all of us Mai anh thank you for organising a wonderful the trip and I will be using you again in future. However I do have one suggestion, it would be more memorable if a farewell dinner is included on the last nite even the cost of the dinner is added to the cost of the package. It’s only my suggestion.

Hi Tom, Really everything was top notch. People were prompt, on time, followed up and were very nice. Driver was excellent. Very safe. Courses were good and interesting layouts. Only complaint was the courses were too far away from the hotel and traffic was too congested. Too much time in the van. We will definitely come back.

Tommy, no problems with the name, your company altered things to suit very quickly and we were very happy. The hotels, drivers and guides were excellent we enjoyed all their good directions and courteousness throughout the tour. We intend to come again early next year but perhaps we will bring some other golfing friends with us as well. Perhaps only one suggestion to improve the tour would be to include golf at Long Thanh golf course as it was easily the most superior course we played. I look forward to talking to you again in the future.

10 day Southern Golf Tours in May 2008
“As for Vietnam, we will not be returning anytime soon. We had a fun time golfing and the tour agency’s arrangements were top notch; however, the weather is similar to LA’s “June Gloom” of gray skies and haze. The best golf course was Phoenix in Hanoi. It has the “wow” factor. It is unique in the world and the Korean’s have the right idea of building several courses with a hotel/villas so that golfers can just go there and stay in the compound and spend all their time there without having to fight the scooters, pollution, poor roads, and dodging traffic collisions and street vendors. Although Long Thanh was voted best golf course in Vietnam for 2007, Phoenix’s Championship course is the course to play. Long Thanh is beautiful and only two other groups played the course on the day we were there. Phoenix is “Ha Long Bay on land.” The second course at Phoenix is also worthwhile to play. King’s Island is unique because you have to take a boat over to the course but the condition of the greens were poor and the layout of some of the holes were weak. We played the mountain course which we were told was not the best of the two, so maybe the other one is spectacular. Chi Linh, voted the most difficult course in Vietnam, lived up to its reputation. We played 36 holes there and it was spectacular… a must play in Vietnam. Dalat is a pretty town and has pine trees instead of palm trees but the course does not have the “wow” factor. Although Richard birdied the 16 hole all three rounds we played, we were upgraded to the Presidential suite, the French restaurant Rabineau was elegant and delicious, it was memorable but is not a town we would go back to. Overall, the Vietnam golf courses we played are all very scenic and enjoyable and certainly recommendable; however, the poor roads, traffic, noise, chaos on scooters, and weather does not incite us to return within the next few years. There are too many other countries to visit for golf, including China which would be our next golf adventure. The Hyatt’s Opera Italian restaurant was the best with a very relaxing after dinner drink in the jazz lounge! Sheraton’s food is just average but the rooms were huge with the best view of Saigon. The Sofitel Metropole is the hotel to recommend in Hanoi. The Spices restaurant had excellent Vietnamese food without having to venture out of the hotel but the French restaurant was maybe a B-. The hotel is in the old quarters and had the best service/ambience of all the hotels we stayed at. It is an oasis. Thanks again for your perfect arrangements.
